We’re new to crowdfunding, but nature is something we’ve cared deeply about for years. We recently started the Land Alliance Project because of the devastating effect deforestation and the loss of precious farmland, green spaces and countryside has had on our area. We’ve managed to save some, but we need your support to do more.
We often hear about the destruction of rainforests in Africa and South America, but North American forests are in danger as well. Mostly from unnecessary development and mismanagement. Forests play an important role in combatting climate change. Preserving these environments is essential.
White-Tailed Deer, threatened Marsh-Hawks, Eastern Black Bears, amphibians, and reptiles are just a few of the animals that call this land home. Protecting their natural habitat isn’t just about saving them, but saving our future.
In this blog, we’ll be talking not just about what we’re doing, but science, nature, and wildlife as a whole, plus sharing what others are doing to conserve. New scientific discoveries, alongside developing technologies are important to us, so you’ll be seeing some of that too. We hope to include fun ways to enjoy the outdoors and even science related fiction from time to time. Check back and see what’s new.
By helping to preserve these remaining green spaces, you can make a difference.
